Kalon Tripa arrives in Brussels for TSG conference Brussels, 9 May, TibetNet: Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche arrived in Brussels today. He was received at the airport by Mr. Jampal Chosang, the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama based in Paris. Kalon Tripa will participate in the 5th International Tibet Support Group Conference from 11 to 14 May and will give speak at the inaugural session of the conference. Besides, attending the International Tibet Support Group Conference, Kalon Tripa will meet with Mr. Dirk Sterckx, chairman of the EP China Delegation and Mr. Franz Jessen, head of the China Unit at the European Commission. Kalon Tripa will also meet Mr. Jacek Saryusz Wolski, chairman of the EP Foreign Affairs Committee. On the sidelines of the conference, Kalon Tripa will meet with the members of the newly-formed Tibet Network and will address the members of the Tibetan community in Belgium. After the conference Kalon Tripa will attend the annual meeting of the Representatives of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on 15 May.
